“ My friend and I went to Pakakuna restaurant and cooking school after they had just opened in Urabamba. The garden setting with fruit, avocado, pecan trees with the tables weaving throughout the garden was so beautiful, peaceful and nourishing to the soul. And then came the food! Diego, the chef is extremely creative and thoughtful with every ingredient. And his partner, Analu was so attentive and took the time to explain what went into each dish. They are an incredible team with attention to every detail. I don’t say this lightly. I was a chef for 40 years, as well as having had my own restaurant. There's both inside and outside seating with spacious tables and power plugs - perfect for computer work or just enjoying a nice meal. The garden is beautiful, comfortable in both sun and rain, and with good bathrooms too. They have food options with reasonable prices too. Highly recommended ”
